Jennifer Janét 

From the age of nine, Baton Rouge-born songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Jennifer Janét picked up a guitar and never put it down. After graduating from MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jennifer began performing and touring professionally with her sister, JoAnna Janét. In 2002, she joined JoAnna on the Grand Ole Opry stage and continued performing as her guitarist through 2004.

In 2006, Jennifer joined the Louisiana-based rock band Sons of William as bassist. She recorded two albums and toured with the group for five years, while also remaining active with several multi-genre bands in the Shreveport area.

A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Jennifer began writing and arranging music for her own pop/rock project, Spectra Vamp, in 2016. She continues to front the project as Jennifer Janét, opening for artists including Doyle Bramhall II, Better Than Ezra, Sister Hazel, Cowboy Mouth, Nita Strauss, and many others.

Music by Jennifer Janét and Spectra Vamp was featured in the 2020 Amazon Prime movie The Sweetheart Deal, and Jennifer was featured in She Shreds online magazine in 2019. Her original music is available on major streaming platforms.
